I have2 moss balls, both are about the size of a tennis ball, if not,a bit larger.
I remember reading somewhere that in order to make more, you ripe them into pieces and place them back into the tank and each piece will grow?

If so, how long would it take for these lil moss balls to grow?

Any information would be splendid!

Thank you very much

Okay, this is kind of a long process. Fill your sink, or a bucket, with water. Then add the moss ball and try to unwind it bit by bit. If you swish the moss in the water, some pieces will come off, that is a good start. There is probably something holding it together (a rubberband or string), if you can get that off, it will be a lot easier. Good luck!

I've actually heard that moss balls grow only 5 mm a year.

Trying to grow mossballs? Well maybe put a small round object in water that has sun constanly touching it. Making it, faster to grow. I would give it a week.. or until you want it to stop.
