Is the Iphone realy worth it?

what is so special that you have to spend an extra 2 to 3 hundred on a phone when you can get a quality phone and a ipod video for a lot less?
what does it do that makes it everyone want it?

I agree with you, i dont really think its worthit. Heck for 600 / 700$;s or whatever, you could buy a laptop or a nice computer, a phone and an ipod!! Yes, its cool. But, i wouldnt spend that much money on somethig like that, its kinda just useless.

The display, the display, the display. Everything looks good on it. The menu design: It's simple and clean, and the home screen icons look like so much eye candy. I work for a MAJOR comp mfgr. We and our competition are reciving hundreds of calls about no synch with desktop and no connectivity with outlook. Overall when queried, the customers seem to be very upset about call quality and with interactivity with other devices. I hear you cant even synch with your ipod. Iternet connectivity is not a great experience.

Like all apple products, or all products in general, not just apple (although apple is worse than other brands), the first generation of any product is very much a hit or miss thing. Give them a year for a new generation and it'll be awesome.

Yeah I think it is going to be pretty cool but I am sure there will be bugs to work out. I do not like to buy anything right when it comes out on the market because it is more expensive at first and it often has problems. I think the price is ridiculous, but I think people waiting in lines for hours is even more ridiculous. Don't people have anything better to do with their time. Wait a week and they will be everywhere! Wait a few months and they will have a newer better model for a better price!

Well yes it is. I don't have one but I'm getting one and it looks amazing. Yes it's expensive but it's a phone, an ipod and it has the internet on it all in one on a touch screen device. I don't think it gets much better than that. =^.^=
