They sure do! I was a substitute teacher and I won't step foot in a middle school in the district I worked in. The last time I missed getting tackled by one of the students by a hair. (And I'm darn near 6' and not a wimp!) And when I marched the punk to the office the principle asked if I had a witness! Ugh -- no more!

In my district the highschool the place I coach English starts off at 7:15. by settlement i'm to reach by 7:00. even if, I often get there around 6:30 to make confident aspects are waiting, and agendas are waiting to pass. The final bell is at a million:50, yet i'm required to stay till 2:10. I often do no longer leave till approximately 2:30, 3:40 5. in this time i'm often helping pupils, correcting papers, making waiting for day after at present, etc. as quickly as each week i pass to the community library and excellent till approximately 5 p.m. (Thank goodness I actual have an expertise husband!) i'm getting a 20 minute lunch destroy it relatively is cushioned by 5 minutes passing on the two end. additionally, I actual have what's talked approximately as a "prep era" ordinary. mutually as pupils take 4, eighty 4 minute instructions an afternoon interior the block schedule, I in basic terms coach 3. The prep is used for correcting, writing lesson plans and different administrative paintings. the midsection college and customary faculties in my district pass longer yet initiate later interior the morning (7:40 5, midsection and eight:15, common) as a lot of our severe college pupils are in charge for babysitting youthful siblings. i do no longer understand what the settlement reads for them with regard to coming and going, even if it relatively is a matching timeframe, and that they too get "prep time" throughout the time of the day.

I think in certain cities, yes.

Local crime rates, inter-district transfers of students from less "attractive" areas of the city and school detention/expulsion rates must be taken into account also.

Here could be a Jeff Foxworthy quote:

"You know you should receive hazard pay if your school has a metal detector at the front door!

hahahaha, I crack me up sometimes.

Ever wonder what is school is all about?
Ever wonder how the teachers were living in misery with little horror chucky who grew up to be the were-wolves and Jack-the- Ripper in school?
Ever wonder why they were living with "Fear is the key" with the were-wolves and Jack-the-Ripper waiting to rip them off were asking for hazard pay?
The teacher better join the circus on how to tame the were-wolves with Jack-the Ripper and little horror chucky out there.

They should. And it should be paid from the pockets of parents who have not taught their children to respect their elders and to simply behave properly in public.
