It depends on where the oil comes from. There are some oil fields in the US, there are oil fields in Africa. Check where the company you purchase from gets their crude oil.

Oil is a natural resource that comes from different parts of the globe. Most gas in American pumps is not from the Middle East, including Iraq. Also, Iraq is a country, and the "terrorists" are a group that is composed of a counterculture of people from the area that have no state-sponsored ties with Iraq. The purchase of gas is so far removed from the premise of supporting terrorism that it could not be considered as such. It's as silly as the idea of wearing clothes that are made in China supports Communism.

A barrel of oil is 42 US gallons - at 70 dollars US per gallon and 16 % of "base price for refineing costs that are not an absolute loss as the refining process yields Kerosine and other burnable fuels and plus 2% of base price for the stated profits of the oil company that declares billions in profits on a quarterly basis
You are not up to 2 bucks per gallon yet - 60 cents per litere Cdn -
What are you paying over and above 2 bucks a gallon ?
Where did the rest of it go ?
Tax - It went to various levels of government who do not report the total tax revenue on a gallon or a litre of refined crude to anyone -
So when you buy oil or gas for your car the vast majority went not to "terrorists" but to your politicans -
I will leave it to you to label them as you see fit

Yes...and if you drive a gas guzzling SUV you are really guilty.
Come on America...it's time to sell your SUV...buy something very economical and ride your bicycle as much as you can. If everybody pulls together and does this it will force the automakers to stop the production of these selfish, self consuming, global warming vehicles that never should have been manufactured in the first place.
Protest SUV's!!! It's time to give some love back to Mother Earth. God Bless!

Think about it. If I don't buy gas, I don't get to work. If my husband doesn't buy gas, he doesn't get to work. Should we quit our jobs and buy bicycles because of deals the oil companies work out with foreign countries? Nothing like being realistic.
