About two weeks ago I went to a restaurant as a guest. The people that invited me initiated a conversation with the waitress who stood there over fifteen minutes yapping and yapping. OMG! Doesn't she think I had a life, they drove. I wanted to crawl away and all she could say was, "ha ha ha I have seniority I can stay here all day if I want to." I will never return to Macaronis. Why can't they leave me and the party I am in alone? I don't need their input.

I hate it when table servers/waitresses stay and talk. Even if they personally know me or someone at the table.

Tell them to go away! Or be more tactful and ask them to get you something, even if you don't need it.
