I'm not a supporter of Bush, but I was thinking about this the other day.
We have not had a terrorist attack in the United States since 911.
I don't know if I can accredit this to him, but it is something to think about.

After getting hit by terrorist in sept 2001 and inheriting an economy that was going into a recession by the former failure Bill Clinton; Bush did something extremely smart. He CUT TAXES!! The economy the way it was, and then 9/11 we should have went into a depression. Keeping the tax cuts, has sent the unemployment to 4.5% or under the last 3 years. Home ownership, College graduates, Self employed new business owners, People investing into the stock market, has all risen dramatically, especially within the minority groups. So 9/11, 2 wars going on, no one should be bitching about the job he's doing. We are told daily in droves about how bad everything is....But in reality is anyones life that much worse than it was 6/7 years ago? You make your life and your finances worse not the govt! People like blaming someone else for their failures. And if you are listening to the democrats running, then you believe it. Once you let someone else dictate your thought process, you are done like a dinner. Its you who make or break your life style. Responsibilty is not part of the democratic campaign platform.

He has polarized opinion - before Bush you could argue that people didn't really care because everything was going so well. The most we could complain about was a philandering president. Now, the lines are drawn and virtually everyone has an opinion. Like it or not, he has made people care about the issues again.

His tax cuts have stimulated growth in the private sector, lowered unemployment and raised tax revenue for the government. He has stood up to terrorists and the people that support them. He has done his best despite opposition from the Democrats, who have a different agenda for all of us.

Have you noticed that while Spain, London, Glasgow, Indonesia, and other such places have been experiencing terrorist activity (as in actual attacks), we haven't? Not since 9/11...
Of course, the conspiracy theorists have an explanation for that... but, I'm making this comment for the normal people.

Tax cuts increased Federal revenues by over $1,000,000,000,000, and resulted in the highest employment and the lowest unemployment in history.

The ONLY possible good that could come from the Bush example is that we learn to enact an IQ requirement for Presidential candidates in the future. If he had had to take an IQ test, we would never have been subjected to him, his unjustified war, his no-bid contracts, his cronyism, his mishandling of EVERYTHING, etc., etc., etc.!
