Finishing last is not due to being nice. It only looks that way because the things that do contribute to so called finishing last are often accompanied by nicety.

Finishing last has more to do with things like tact, confidence, knowledge, and method.

Nice is not bad. It is good. It is also pragmatic. It feels good to people. You can be nice, and should be nice. You should also develop confidence, tact, the right knowledge, your goals, and your methods.

Best wishes.

Because we are apparently stupid . I have been a nice guy for all of my 47 years and after my last 2 relationships ,I feel like I have been used and taken advantage of one to many times. It sure seems to me that any female that says she wants a nice guy is just looking for a guy that will give them what they want and then take advantage of their kindness and abuse them and dump us when we want something in return. I have learned a valuable lesson though, from now on in a relationship I am going to give according to what I am receiving. Kindness is mistaken for a weakness to much and I try to be nice ,but I am not weak. Now I understand why a lot of old men are cranky , they were probably nice guys at one time and got tired of being treated like crap in return.

Because in the long run nice guys will go to the ends of the Earth to find the things you need and they don't focus on being #1 at everything!

Because you're nice and today thats a rare thing, for a guy to actually be nice. However keep your head up and don't give up, one day you will find a girl who appreicates that you are nice and you will live happily ever after and you will be glad that you hung in there and didn't give up.

GIVE IT UP FOR THE NICE GUYS IN THIS WORLD!!!!!!!!!!

I am nice and I think that I am normally ahead of the pack. You finish last because you allow yourself to.

Because nice guys dont try and keep what they want. They let the pretty girls go for the cute guys, and dont stick up for themselves. Most of us women want nice guys who will treat us right.

why do nice guys finish last.. actually it's nothing to ask why... ever feel that ur being original to a girl.. cos i know ur always original to ur frens.. ur best frens might be girls.. but ever wonder why when u tell them stories about this girl u are so attracted to and how u do specially nice things to her compared to ur other girlfriends? well... u might think ur being nice.. but maybe she's thinking "that's so the same" or "he's trying too hard"?

and one thing about "nice guys" u never know your limit of being "nice" and being "nice". girls are always being nice to me.. sometimes too nice.. i get panic and i maintain it just as frens.. before it go somewhere else.. so think..

Because they let themselves be walked on to much and that reflects a sign of weakness. And belive me, as much as women love a nice guy, they can't stand it when a man won't stand up for himself.

because girls are normally drawn to the "charm" of bad boys , but sooner or later they get mature and start seeing the value of a nice , honest and decent guy ... it takes time though , lots of it
