Now that we know Doctors are behind recent bomb plots in Britain, what will this mean for all doctors of Middle Eastern descent practicing in Britain?
How likely will the ripple effect, if any, travel?
Will teachers and those in other top professions be scrutinized more now?
Are you worried, and if so what is your main fear?

Spielberg-Those doctors arrested ARE extremely intelligent people. A week ago I may have thought the idea of Doctors being involved in terrorism as ridiculous but the fact is that it's not 'dumbasses' behind terror plots, it's smart and often highly educated individuals who have, as recent events show, assimilated themselves into western society very well.
I asked the question not out of fear for myself, I asked out of concern for those in the west and those from the east, everyone, even you. ;-)

I think most people were shocked because we have a stereotypical mind set of what we think a terrorist is,and it certainly is not a doctor especially one working in a hospital on The Gold Coast in Australia.

There are no excuses for the physicians' actions. Their community should have recognized and addressed their leanings and opinions concerning Fundamentalism.

My concern is for their patients--how many of them died needlessly? Every one of their patients treatment records should be investigated.

Why do you think you have the right to travel freely in the West when no Westerner has the right to travel freely in the Near and Middle East without the threat of violence or death. Does the West have religious police that will beat a Westerner to death in the street?

Your operations of confusion concerning public opinion, turning negative perspectives back on those you victimize, and using democracy against itself are coming to an end.

Get back to the Near East where you belong and take your disgusting, murderous belief system and your lack of concern for anyone but our own people with you.

Political Correctness is the Incubator of Islamism
by Amil Imani

14 Feb, 2007

Time and again we are told by the politically correct “experts” not to worry about Islam posing a threat to our way of life. We are repeatedly lectured that only a very small minority of Muslims are troublemakers who are giving the peaceful masses of Muslims a bad name. We are also informed that the terrorists, who happened to be Muslims, are the disaffected and the young. And not to worry, since as the fire of youth turns to ashes of old age the rebellious will mellow, as they always have.
With heavy assurances like this, coming from so many know-it-all authoritative figures, we can sleep soundly without the aid of sleeping pills. After all, people reason that these pundits are “experts” whose job is to know and tell it like it is. Those who voice contrary views must be a bunch of racist, alarmist hate mongers. Who is right?

Wouldn’t be more prudent to let the facts settle the matter, rather than blindly accepting either position? Of course it would, except for one huge problem. In the face of threats, people tend to go to the mind’s medicine cabinet and take a few denial and rationalization pills, in the same way that it is the aspirin bottle they turn to when a headache strikes. Why not? We are the Easy Species. We love effortless, quick and simple solutions. And that’s not invariably bad. It has given us all kinds of labor and time saving devices.

Yet, the Islam problem is very real and deadly. Neither the pronouncements of the experts, nor the tranquilizing pills of the mind can make it go away. It is here and it shows every sign of imposing itself on us.

Europe is already badly infected with Islamism. It is the coal-miners’ canary. It is telling us that the next stop is America. We must act and act now. We must not sacrifice our cherished way of life and the lives of our children at the altar of political correctness: the incubator of Islamofascism.

intleigent people are also capable of being brainwashed, being inteligent in one subject does not automatically make them an expert at everything
its scary that a doctor was involved as he has preumably trained to help people and show compassion
its scary that anybody wants to commit acts of terrorism

It just means that those people are really capable of anything. It won't travel to America, alot of Muslim doctors are highly intelligent and shouldn't be judged because of some dumbasses. It's not going to cause teachers to be scrutinized, that's ridiculous! Hell no I'm not worried, are you?
