Not to mention overplayed and reduntant. Also it doesn't even make sense: "i'm a 1000 miles away girl but tonight you look so pretty"
If he was 1000 miles away from her, how would he know what she looks like? Unless he is teleconferencing with her or something like that. Therefore, he is either a liar, an idiot, or a nerd.
It's not even the whole band either, its just one idiot singing. If i was his band, i would want to fight him.

I loved that song so much but now it's getting on my nerves. It's so overplayed. It's the first thing I hear in the morning and the last thing I hear before I go to bed. I also hear it a million times during the day. It's nauseating!

I liked the band a few years ago.. and now they're so popular because of Hey There Delilah and I hate it. People don't even bother to listen to there other songs, which are just as good (if not better!)

I like that song! And i am not one of those annoying, sentimental, cheesy girls either! I just love the simplicity of the song, and the sound of the singers voice. But, yeah it is overplayed!

No, if we're talking fairly recent songs, then "Cupid's Chokehold" by Gym Class Heroes is more annoying and cheesy.

well i can't say i am enthralled with pwt's new ****, as it sucks, but, they do have a few shining tracks and hey there delilah, to some people carrys alot of sentiment through the simple lyrics and seamingly intense guitar work. it sort of melds together in one poppy tune that the user will be hard pressed to rid themselves of! i can't say i DISLIKE it, as it is MIGHTY CATCHY! my friends dad is eatin with his eyes closed!
