As described above. Go to ER or DIY.....

Treatment: make sure you have someone with you should you go into shock--

Make sure you remove as much as possible the little bits embedded in your skin using sterile tweezers.
Sterilize area with hydrogen peroxide (don't know what the current solution method is for it)
Put 2nd Skin (Spenco) on area if it is not too big if not...then put polysporin (antibiotic cream) and try to keep covered with gauze. Change daily.
If you are going to let it scab...DON'T PICK AT IT!!
If you want to have minimal scarring keep putting polysporin on it to keep the torn skin edges from hardening.
Get a tetanus shot if you are not up to date on immunization

If area starts to be turning more red than usual, swelling and painful, it is probably infected---go to the doctor's.

Good luck.

sparkling it o.k. with antibacterial cleansing soap. Neosporin will help it heal lots swifter. cover it with some thing talked approximately as Telfa pads (it relatively is the kind call). Telfa pads are like gauze pads that may not stick into the wound. Gauze pads will stick into the line rash and harm to take off. then you somewhat can tape the Telfa down on the exterior with scientific tape. shop the rash coated as much as you could interior the 1st few days. as quickly because it stops oozing, detect and permit nature takes it direction.

Road Rash is when you are riding your bike or skate boarding and you wipe out and go sliding a bit. All that scabbing is road rash. I think you may want to avoid this!

It usually is when you skid across the pavement in a motorcycly accident. Air it out and clean it throughly, it will probably hurt like hell when you clean it but at least it won't get infected.

I beleive it's if you get in a wreck or something & you slide (or get thrown) on the road you get a road rash.
