Quite the opposite. He's even more of a DISGRACE to the White House than Warren Harding ("Teapot Dome") and Richard Nixon ("Watergate"). And by POISONING the US Supreme Court against individual liberties/personal freedoms for decades to come, he's done America incomprehensible and GRIEVOUS damage. May the name of GW Bush be **cursed** forevermore!

With the strong hunch that your probably a leftist , I'll say yes he has , it's a much better place now that the poor white trailer trash of the previous administration is out , tho one (or both of them ) are trying to get back in. If your not a leftist I apologize , in any case President Bush is head and shoulders above most of the bashers on the left , both in DC and here on this board , no decency or common sense at all .

You have to be joking! He has piled on more disgrace and humiliation on the office of the president since the days of Nixon.

I believe he has. Regardless of whether one agrees with the policies or not, at least with Mr Bush, there were no seedy personal private behaviors morphing into attempts to deceive congress, and with Mr Bush, like him or no, at least you know where he stands on every issue.

(I personally support him except on the illegal immigration issue. A real conservative would never offer general amnesty simply because the illegals were already here)

Yes, I think he has. He has also restored honor to the White House, something that President Clinton and his wife totally destroyed. I think he should fight back a whole lot more than he does, but I guess that is part of the "new tone in Washington" that he also promised. President Bush says what he means and does what he means and doesn't back down, he doesn't flip flop with every change in the wind.
