It seems he loves to right the political wrongs of the Democrats including a judge who gave a way too harsh a sentence. It does not matter what anyone thinks Libby did - it only matters what they could prove. Perjury is not worth that time & if he had been a Democrat it would have been a slap on the wrist.

Remember? the 50 counts of tax evasion & illegal oil trading guy - oh yeah Billy the I was looking for money to build my library pardoned him after the check cleared. Clinton called it "bad politics' himself. That is the amnesty I want millions of dollars to keep & no punishment for crimes. Lying - no individual reward.

Commuting Libby's senctence only opens the door to more crimes by the right-wing. But the Democrats are once again up to their chin in complicity with this recent crime. Pelosi enabled it when she uttered "impeachment is off the table." With impeachment being off the table, the Bush administration is free to do whatever they please. Pelosi must have know that when she made the comment. And she must have been well aware of the many Bush crimes or there would have been no need to make such a statement.
