I don't get some of these answers, one the one hand they say "faith without works is dead",James 2:17–18 the works for salvation people use that one a lot,but James is emphasizing the point that genuine faith in Christ will produce a changed life and good works (James 2:20-26). James is not saying that justification is by faith plus works, but rather that a person who is truly justified by faith will have good works in his/her life. and then on the other hand they say it is totally grace and they don't deserve it. well which one is it? the J.W's believe salvation is obtained by a combination of faith, good works, and obedience. This contradicts countless scriptures which declare salvation to be received by grace through faith (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5). The Roman Catholic Church teaches that salvation is by baptismal regeneration and is maintained through the Catholic sacraments unless a willful act of sin is committed that breaks the state of sanctifying grace. these are all works, so I ask again, which is it? you can't say there must be works and in the same breath say "I didn't deserve it", because works for salvation is trying to earn salvation. I'm confused, are they earning salvation with what they do and there for they deserve it, or is it grace and has nothing to do with what they do? they can't have it both ways.

i actually made a card for fathers day like those commercials just last dad's day. it was:

cotton button down work shirts with a front pocket: $37
singing father's day card: $4.50
totally ripping off a commercial to make a card that celebrates a fantastic dad: priceless.

btw those kind of shirts are the only kind that my dad likes because he has so many pens he carries around in his front pocket, so whenever i buy him one i make sure its exactly like that, but the color and design doesnt really matter. =-)
