I have looked at escort ads, and they say:

"All money exchanged is for companionship and modeling services only. Any physical contact is a matter of choice between 2 consenting adults."

Does this make it legal? Just wondering?

Technically, but as soon as any discussion of exchange of money for sex is discussed, it become prostitution, which is why police have decoys as both johns and "escorts" in sting operations.

If the escort follows that policy, yes. While most who advertise today are, not all escorts are prostitutes. Likewise, not all who do private modeling are prostitutes. Escorts who provide no other services have been used for social purposes by both men and women for centuries. The Geisha's of Japan, who traditionally provide no sexual services would also generally be considered escorts.

If the escort solicits sex for pay, they subject to prostitution laws. If they agree to have sex independent of the financial arrangement for the escort service and with money being exchanged, it's perfectly legal.

Offering an escort service is not illegal. If the escort and the client voluntarily decide to have sex while on the outing, that is not illegal. It is only illegal if it is part of the agreement, i.e., if the client is paying for it. It's a huge loophole they are taking advantage of.

No is not legal, they just try to play smart but everybody know that sex is part of the price and yes you can be arrested if your client turn out to be and undercover cop.

The "Any physical contact is a matter of choice between 2 consenting adults." it's their way of telling you "Hey if you get arrested it's YOUR problem not ours"
