"Allow?" You are kidding, right? Not so much about the way you used the word "allow" but that you hint at having a girlfriend that you could actually control in so much as stopping her from saying what she wants to say. Yes, it's unladylike to swear in the presence of others. However, it is also ungentlemanly to act as though you would not allow a woman to have her own mind.

It's not appropriate for anyone to swear. But I don't think it should be called 'unladylike' because again, that's sexist. It's right to swear period and if you think it is for male to, then... Oh, lets face it, your a sexist, jackazz, dumbazz pig that doesn't understand equal rights

I do not let anyone tell me what to say or how to say it. I certainly respect your views. And just so you know I don't make a big habit of foul language...but it can and does happen now and again.I would never tell someone (adult) what they can and can not say.

It's unladylike for a woman but not barbaric for a man? hmm. Sounds chauvinistic to me. You get what you give. If one swears the other should be allowed. If one doesn't then the other should respect that and hold their tongue. That's fair.

Yes my boyfriend lets me swear but I rarely say it... I don't like to swear but if you get me REALLY (and I mean REALLY) mad then I might let slip one or two naughty words.

Personally I do not like people swearing like a tropper as if it's their second language. Its degrading to be honest.

The foul language rule does not apply just to me cos I am a female. It applies to everyone in my home. lol. I am a bit of a nazi sometimes. :-D

I would not really allow myself to use foul language for anything other than while in the bedroom... It does slip out sometimes... Or if I am really mad... I don't need hubby to tell me if it is right or wrong....

Oh, your at it again?

Yes,dear, we all know this.

And we should ask you how to dress, and when to speak, keep the house clean, turn the paycheck over to you, take care of the kids ourselves, cut up your food and make you a pillow.

Still single, eh?

You do know this is 2007 right?

I don't use foul language because I don't need to....to me it's disrespectful to myself and whoever I'm talking to.
