I don't think aliens are too scared to show themselves to mankind. I think they're too far away to show themselves. Consider this: The nearest star is Alpha Centuri. It's about 4.3 light years from Earth (about 25.8 trillion miles). It would take about 117,808 to 120,791 years to get there in a space ship traveling at 25,000 mph. However, there isn't even a planet orbiting Alpha Centauri.
I think it's very likely there is other intelligent life out there, being that there are about 300 billion stars in the Milky Way Galaxy alone and there are billions of galaxies in the universe.

Yes, there are.
1. God Almighty [Father Son & Spirit]
2.angels: those serving God and demons [satan's cohorts]
these so-called aliens will not show themselves on a huge scales, for fear that they will be exposed for what they truly are: lying demons who deceive gullible people who are hungry to 'see' anything supernatural. If you look at the sky with this longing in you, off course they will cash in on your ignorance and gullibility and present themselves as superior, intelligent beings,
Why don't you rather seek God and get to know what is really out there? Love, joy, peace and so much more from our Father in Heaven in Jesus His Son that will satisfy the vacuum in your spirit.
Beware of being deceived, dear one...
Rather search for the TRUTH as personified in JESUS CHRIST, Read John 's gospel.

There may be life elsewhere, for all we know, other life forms may visit earth every other tuesday, but you must be sceptical as well as hopeful until there is hard factual evidence. There are many things that we will never know. We must not ridicule religions either, though there is no evidence for a great "designer" that does not make it impossible, as it isn't impossible that other life exists.

a lot of those sightings are the military testing aircraft, others could be signs of alien life in places outside of our understanding. but think about this: if you try to talk to roaches, can they respond? perhaps they try to speak to us, but we don't listen.
