This one's easy -- Maggie Smith.

The thing that has lifted these films above the rest is the ability to induce people like Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, Kenneth Brannagh, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman Emma Thompson, Gary Oldman, and Michael Gambon to play secondary roles to very forgetable teenage performers. If Rupert Grint were to become the actor that Richard Harris was, I would be VERY surprised!

Gary Oldman - Sirius Black.

He brought the Sirius we all knew and loved to life!

Remember the Prisoner of Azkaban movie...at the end? When he wants to kill Pettigrew and hugs Remus...it's so unbelievably real!

Gary Oldman is a GREAT actor...too bad he won't get to be in any of the others after the 5th because of Sirius's death...=/

Interesting question. I most of the time enjoy most actors performsances so I wouldn't do well as a Drama teacher anyways, I like all of them, I like Hagrids but he has a lesser role in each film.

i've got no longer heard that Daniel Radcliffe won't be in "Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix" action picture. And if he won't be interior the 6th action picture...properly it relatively is going to be introduced closer to while they're engaged on it.

Yes, the bad guys seem to play their parts better. Alan Rickman is brilliant and so is Lucius Malfoy. And not to forget Kenneth Brannaghs performance :)

Jason Isaacs as Lucius Malfoy

He brought so much to the part - if you ever watch his behind-the-scenes interviews, he knew more about his character than probably any other actor on the set, and even more than the director sometimes!

Ralph Finnes obviously, the whole reason I saw that movie was for him.
