Yes, I had a transistor radio that I got as a gift when I was 12. I spent a lot time under the covers listening to late night rock shows. The radio was made up in sort of "Hippy" style of decorating; this was when the original hippies were still current. I guess I'm dating myself a bit.

my first one was a 6 transistor. i live in ga., and would listen to w.l..s. in chicago till the wee hours, in the early 1960s . thanx for making me remember! i had almost forgot.
