Come on, guys...this is philosophy. To me, this isn't about the physical. I feel like sex already causes agonizing pain. More than ever, marriages are failing, due to infidelity. This is such a terrible pain to experience for a man or a woman who gets cheated on by their mate. Yes, sex is a great feeling, but it doesn't last long! The pain caused by an adulterer can last forever!!!

Look at cats. The female cat DOES feel pain when the male penetrates her. The pain apparently causes ovulation. She puts up with it because nature makes her, but puts up with that stupid male as little as possible after that.
If human females had the same kind of pain with intercourse, there would be no long term matings. The males would do their thing then go home to drink and party with other males. Women would complain bitterly about how they'd been used and form their lasting relationships with other women.
Uh, did you know that's what female cats talk about with each other? That and their kittens.

If it had always been that way, sexual life would never have gotten started - it would've died out in 1 generation.
If all of a sudden it were like that, we'd just come up with ways to anesthetize ourselves for when we wanted to reproduce. And it'd change which segments of the population grew the fastest.

For some people, that is their experience of sex.
Rape, for example, is not a pleasurable experience of sex.
A variety of other physical conditions also produce pain in sex.

There'd be a lot more fat people. Sex wouldn't be pleasurable, so many people would turn to food. That's just a guess.

um... the women do feel agonizing pain, when they give birth, MEN DONT! lol. but... if it was painful.. i dont think people would put up with it anymore... it's like, asking someone "would u stick yourself with a needle even if u didnt have to?" they would say "NO!" you would say "why" and htey would say... "BECAUSE IT HURTS!" theres ur answer. :-)

if your girlfriend has had sex before then she will probably feel more pleasure then pain.. but you have to know what your doing.
