i was told cows and goats and possible pigs are NOT native to north america is this true?

There were NO animals on the Mayflower, which sailed out of Plymouth Harbor, in August of 1620.

Short answer, yes, the colonists did bring livestock with them, cows and goats and pigs and probably sheep too.
