Okay, so you read a question, take the time to answer it, and then, when you hit the button you find out the ASKER removed the question. That just irretates the hell out of me.....

Yep...especially if its a mathematics question. I take a couple minutes to work it out and make sure it's understandable...then I click Submit, and "The asked has removed the question". Pisses me off.

yes i know what your talking about it can be annoying but i suppose the asker gets cold feet & feels embarrassed so has second thoughts!!
i do that sometimes with an answer & think gee thats pretty bad what i just wrote id better get rid of it in a hurry & have hit the wrong button (the delete one instead of the cancel & then you can't do anything about it!
do you get a chance once you ask a question to edit it once you have posted it?? that may be a better idea & then the asker can just fix it up & not delete

I hate when that happens too.. Especially when it's a question I was very interested in and looking forward to answering.

I wouldnt say that I hate it, but it does bother me sometimes, esp when it is a really good question that I may or may not have a good answer for

I agree with everyone here on what's been said.

maybe petition Yahoo about it ... another way around it or something.

Pain in the butt - especially if you've written a VERY long reply.
