It was cute watching all the neighborhood kids setting off fireworks. We had a great show tonight! Of course the kids have been doing this almost every night for a week now.

Nah, we're not setting any off. They freak out the fur-people we so love, and we will be seeing our fireworks on the 4th at Fort Vancouver with the rest of the people around here.

We have a fireworks ban where we live because it is so dry here. The fire chief announced the other day that it is too dangerous to shoot off fireworks. We aren't even allowed to have sparklers! My little girl was so disappointed! : (

We don't anymore. There's dry brush in our area, and fireworks are very illegal. Our last house caught on fire by a bottle rocket many years ago. About 15 years later, our next door neighbor confessed that it was his bottle rocket. He didn't want us to be mad at him. We're still good friends.

yesterday. it gets boring when u watch everyday. i watched it on michigan ave. in dearborn. greenfeild village does it 3 or 4 times a year.
