There is an event scheduled for July 14 in Japan for the Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai movie, where if players pre-order the tickets for the Japanese run, they will recieve a Deoxys. At the theaters, they can receive Darkrai.

Sorry to say but there aren't any Pokemon events come to the US soon. Try using an Action Replay or CodeBreaker to get the Pokemon you want.

all the events are going to be wireless connection meaning that you have to attend in person the event.
Nintendo hasn't used the wifi thing yet. Hopefully it does.
