I doubt you will not receive any honest replies to this one.
First off, the media downplayed it - and, secondly, no democrat in his right mind criticizes a democratic president, regardless of the circumstances.
Look what happened to Gore when he pretty much put Clinton on the back burner during his campaign. Perhaps he could have used a little of Clinton's campaigning help - who knows, he might have even won the election.
