No, Texas wasn't able to get its big brother to bully enough land from Mexico to make Texas bigger. However, I understand that myth has been circulating the Internet since the Mexican American War. Don't believe it! Not everything you read on the Internet is true!

I wouldn't think so but Western Australia is three and a half times as big as Texas, and the British Isles would fit into it 6 times!
