I was disgusted by not surprise. It was a combination of bribes & the fact that he was porking his ex wife that did it.

Marc Rich was a piece of ****, but he wasn't a member of The President of the United States administration. He evaded taxes and made shady oil deals, but his problem was he got caught....Bush and is lackies just use Libby for a scape goat to protect all the corruption in the White House. I'm sure that going to war for oil is way more shady than Marc Rich making oil deals with Iran during the hostage crisis.

How bad could Marc Rich have been? One of his attorneys was Scooter Libby. There really isn't that much difference between the sleaze that controlled our government in the 1980s, 1990s and now. Unfortunately this depravity will no doubt continue into the next decade.

Was Marc Rich a chief of staff? Did he violate a public trust?

I thought is was awful and and am glad we have a President who doesn't follow in Clinton's footsteps. Otherwise he would have the same bad character as Clinton.

Did he obstruct justice for leaking a CIA operatives name to the press? I don't think so!
We know who leaked the name, and Scooter also worked for Bush!
Bush leaked the damn name! He is a little vindictive jerk and has been all along! And so is Cheney!
