Whats wrong with this kid? He's not that good as he thinks he is.
Will he be an nba all star player, role player, or a bust?
Im thinking he will be a bust in the nba. I got my reasons.

In regard to the comparison with Yao - Yao's a much better and more polished player than this Yi kid, who has yet to prove himself.
You also didn't see Yao ***** about being drafted by Houston (which, granted, is a much larger city than Milwaukee). In fact, Yao's parents got in on the action, opening a Chinese restaurant in the western part of the city.
Who knows - maybe his being in Milwaukee will help make it a city that Asian Americans want to come to.
So, Yi, if you're reading this, shut up and go to Milwaukee already.

In terms of ability and potential Yi is only behind Oden & Durant. He needs to work hard though and most importantly he needs to get better advice. His agent is being a total loser and obviously has no idea of the type of person Senator Kohl is. Kohl is probably the most principled sports owner there is and he is not a guy to be intimidated by a agent who obviously doesn't understand the NBA. Yi will buckle soon enough and be glad he did. Playing wise the Bucks are a nice fit with Villanueva and Bogut both being young and complimentary in style to him. If he stays at the Bucks then I can see them being a real force in the East in the next few years. He just needs to concentrate on the basketball and forget about an agent more concerned with marketing.

Read that and you'll see that it's not him that's stating that he doesn't want to go there. All he has said is that he isn't aware of Milwaukee. He's never said that he's going to refuse to play with the Bucks or that he just doesn't want to. He can thank his "representatives" and psycho agent for landing him and the Bucks in this position. It truly isn't his fault that this is the outcome of them drafting him.

If Yi wants to prove he's better than Yao (like he always says) what a better way than help this team first. The Bucks have been struggling to get to the play-off scene. Leaving the city this early especially just after he was picked proves nothing. It just proves how weak he is that he can't play with a team that really needs him.

wat r u talking about??? this guy is oing 2 b good. think about it, the bad players from china dont get drafted only the best do. and he was the only pick from china since yao so hes going 2 live up 2 the hype. as 4 milwaukee. yi agent is saying he doesnt want yi in milwaukee becuz the low asian population. i mean if he plays 4 milwaukee hes gona b out of touch with his roots and race. hes gona b wite washed. if he was drafted by say golden state i doubt hed have a problem with it. and he could just as easily go bak 2 playing ball in china.

that guy should get released and not signed by any NBA team..every international player are just happy to get drafted and here is he complaining right away. he is not that good as i see. let us hope he would not make it big in the NBA.

I don't like the fact that he is acting like the NBA has to cater to him. He's acting like he is a superstar ad he didn't play one game yet. Accept where you are. Yao didn't complain like that and Houston isn't relly a big market.

he will be alright he might be an all star but it's to early to tell the reason he wants a trade is because he wants to go to a city with a big asian poulation the chinese government thinks milwakee is a farming city and china not a farming country they want him to be with more asians

this guy is just mad because hes not getting the hype yao got when he came in.
i havent seen him play much so i cant make a call on whether or not hes a bust
what i do know is teams wont be bidding like they would for A.I., Kobe or K.G.
