To be on the safe side, let's impeach Cheney first. What if we succeeded with Bush only, and Cheney became president?

Yes, I believe they should... along with Condoleezza Rice,
Donald H. Rumsfeld, and Alberto Gonzales.

Well, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride, but I think it's way too late. There are only 18 months or so left in their administration, and impeachment would take up almost all that time, so nothing else would get done. And I think we need to focus on getting out of Iraq, doing something about health care, improving education, protecting the environment and getting a Democrat elected President in 2008.

I would enjoy seeing them impeached, but I think it would be an ineffective move at this point.

For now, leave them be. Let those who supported Bush and hard-leaning conservatives bear witness to the full consequences of their voting behavior.

Perhaps voters in the next election will do their homework and make informed decisions, not the party but the person.

yes Cheney first, as one always removes the brains first, then have congress force Bush to resing or impeach him

Yes.
Not only impeached but tried for lying to the American people.
And since Bush arranged for the relatives of Osama Bin Laden to be flown out of the country after 9/11, he and Cheney should both be deported to Saudi Arabia.

they haven't done anything specifically against the law, although someone could try busting them for that whole Patriot Act thing... i dont think they deserve impeachment, but maybe more like a time out

Why do people keep asking such stupid questions? Do you have a brain? What law did he break? Think about it. At least when Slick Willy was impeached there was a law he broke.
