The only thing I can see in the sky right now is Jupiter in the south; it's a bright yellow planet. If the clouds would go away, I would see the big dipper like it is shown in the first link below. Use the second link, and type in your ZIP code to see what it looks like in your back yard.

Hi. Orion also has 7 bright stars but it may not be visible this time of year. If you see 4 stars that form an arc and the arc curves toward a bright star closer to the horizon (Arcturus) then yes, you are looking at the Big Dipper.

Yes I love looking at Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, the Big and Little Dippers. I also like watching the Persid Meteor Show in August It just is so beautiful to watch the stars and planets.

yes i can see it tonight, its really cool, its so fun looking at constellations, i do it all the time
