Benq Joybook R55 wireless adapter?

I have a Benq Joybook R55 with a wireless adapter, the thing is i have to turn the adapter on everytime i turn my computer on, is there an easier way? are there some settings that you can change so that it automatically comes on, every other computer i have ever had does it automatically.

Check its utility or configuration software. In the software of some adapters there is a check box to enable it. If enabled, it will automatically turn ON when computer is turned on.
