If you saw the news today. The black nasty cop who shot the hispanic soldier who was in Irak fighting for this country. was not guilty. Acording to the video used in the court, shows another story, because we can see clearly than the black guy was trying to kill the hispanic man. The cop ( I believe was in Riverside County in California) ordered the man to stand up and then he started shooting at him. The question is: How about if the family, since the court couldn't make justice, take the justice in their own hands? It seems like the system every time more and more is pushing the society to take justice by their own. That's because when unjustice is clear, they don't punishe the criminals, we now know even cops are criminals, we've seen them commiting crimes. What do you think? Should they (The Family) do whatever it takes to make justice?

I think he was guilty. The actions of the two that were stopped were not the best but words alone never justify being shot. The airman was doing what he was told to do then he gets shot doing it - and by a policeman at that! ! I saw the tape several times and I also watched the Today Show interview with the airman's wife and I agree with her that the jury just wanted to find him not guilty from the start. The comments from a couple of the jurors were just plain wrong-thinking and should scare all of us. Sure the police should be able to do their job but not go overboard and use really excessive force. I hope that the feds file charges and go after the cop just like they did with the Simi Valley case..

The cop ordered him to stand up, and he did, and that is when the cop shot him. Jury's don't always get it right. Watch what happens on appeal in Federal court.

I did not see this story, but you should know that we only see what the media wants us to see. The situation may not be as it appeared. Or it very well might be. The system isn't perfect, but justice should never be taken into the hands of emotionally involved individuals.

they can always file a civil suit. vigilantism is illegal.

i never saw the story or the tape. but, i agree with the lady above, the media doesn't always show us the entire story. in fact, in my experience, they generally paint a picture they want you to see rather than being completely objective.

Too hard to say because we were not there and you can't always see all the facts on a news story.
