what is a gaming notebook?

i know it supposed to be for hardcore gamers. but what kind. is it just regular games that u play online. or is it just games like minesweeper and freecell. what kind of games. so if someone could just explain what exactly it is. 10 points to you.

A notebook that has a better graphics chipset, a higher spec CPU, more memory and a bigger screen than usual.

Compared to a desktop a gaming notebook is an oxymoron.

A 'decent' gaming graphics chip now dissipates more power than the CPU. You are not going to be able to get one into a laptop without crippling it.
