Zorak says, "In all seriousness, yes. I had a teacher who wasn't strict, but a real jerk, an a@#!hole for no reason. If a teacher is strict, he/she should at least be fair and teach the subject correctly. This numbnut never did. He had no idea what he was doing. He was an out and out jerk and very mean person..to everyone. He constantly called every student derogatory names. Remember, this was during the early 80's and in a small town, so he managed to get away with a lot of crap. I have often...very often...thought about looking him up and doing some not so civil things to him, esp. given how he ridiculed me and others constantly. I know, however, that not only is this not a very civil or legal thing to do, but it would only put me on his level and get me in trouble. My friend during High School got kicked out for literally choking this teacher because he had had enough of his crap. This "teacher" also got busted having sex with one of our female students. He got fired, and moved. No one has seen him in a very long time. If he is dead, however, I WILL find his grave and piss all over his tombstone. I am not joking. Your revenge scheme is funny, but mine would not involve any humor--unfortunately.

Yes, I think of my old teachers and guess what... it is the strict one's I remember with the most fondness because I believe they helped me be where I am now

I resented it when I was at school but now I know they were being strict because I needed to focus more at the time.

No I have never wanted to seek revenge on any teacher but I agree some were horrible and I think teaching wasn't the job for them.

What you suggest is childish and wouldn't leave a good impression and also you are demeaning yourself. It would be much better to strive to improve yourself to the best of your ability and then write and tell them how well you have done since leaving school.

The good strict teachers will respect you more than you believe in yourself. I sadly suspect you hold little respect for yourself. Value yourself more is my suggestion.

sorry if I sound like a parent because that's what I am.

No, I look back at the strict teachers I had and think about how thankful I am for them. They made me a better student in the long run.
