I walk completely Barefoot 24/7 and have done so over 20 years. I love walking Barefoot over gravel, so pebbles are an easy one because my Bare Feet are so tough and callused.

Yes, I like gravel and pebbles better than sand. Beach sand especially, it's heavy walking, it's not that comfortable at all (unless you walk on the wet sand).

Anyone that walks barefoot on a beach in this day and age is stark raving mad in light of the fact that Junkies love burying their needles in the sand!

Been there done that, hey if your a wimp wear sandals, sand feels better, but pebbles are O.K.
Don't believe that manhatten lady, there may be A beach on the north shore that is all pebbles, but not all of them.

always, I walk everywhere barefoot, and I like the pebble beaches better, it tends to have bigger waves, more nature,and less people, you don't burn your feet on the sand, but if I wore my flip flops that wouldn't happen anyways

pebbles are fine im used to fishing barefoot off of jetties down in Fl (jetties are groups of rigid boulders that jut off the beach into the ocean)

also, sportswriter dude seems kinda paranoid about junkies

As long as they were not sharp because i've crawled around plenty of rocks at some beaches over the year's here in australia edit sportwriter there are beach's & beach's maybe not at bondi but........
