I used to be horrible at letting things go... I just would not let go. Now, my view is that life is too damn short... why hang on to something that is either toxic or that is just not going anywhere.

i hold on to the lessons learned, esp. with dealing with others. i try to forgive most but sometimes that is hard to do. i hold on to enough of the past so that i do not forget.
