installing age of empires III?

when i install the game it says video hardware below recommended requirement but it still will let em play. the game is alright until i get in water battles. then it starts lagging really bad. when i got the error message it give me this info 2800 ghz 512mb 64mb. i was wondering if i needed more memory for my comp. or just a new graphics card

A good graphics card will give you instant improvement. BUT if you are still using PCI for graphics, it is not worth investing in PCI cards. The slow PCI bus will just bottleneck any good GPU.

Get a graphics card of at least 128MB or better and upgrade to 1GB of memory.
