The Heavenly Kid - Seen the beginning. I watched it years ago when it came out. Just sitting there.
Donnie Darko - It's just sitting there.
Dog Day Afternoon - Pacino movie I watched translated to Spanish when I was a kid in PR. Still sitting there.
Alice in Wonderland - Saw it a few times before on Acid. I put it in but it's just not the same. I realized how annoying Alice's voice really is.

Hey! My Donnie Darko DVD is still sitting pretty in its package too!
And other DVDs I have yet to watch:
The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys
The Namesake
Cruel Intentions - the first one.
The History Boys - a BBC movie. Wicked and I have to watch it!
Little Miss Sunshine - picked this one up because I love Toni Collete and Steve Carell!

As (FINALLY!) an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree ... I can say that in MY Experience as a Long Term Single Parent that I did purchase DVDs for my children ... when they were young and teenagers living in the home ...
AND ...
NOT ONCE did I have the time to sit down, take a load off my feet, and be able to watch some of the DVDs that they liked -- and there are anime series of DVDs in my collection that I have NO CLUE what they contain or what the show was about anyways! (Just checked my lists -- things like Spiral, S-cry-ed, Tenchi Muyo, Yu-Yu-Hakusho, etc etc etc -- stuff teens like and I never, ever viewed or know the contents of)

Most of them are sitting here, still in that shrink wrap that you can't hardly even get off. People keep buying us movies, and husband keeps looking for some TV to watch.

lots. they're mostly the deep, boring ones i bought only because i wanted to have some "quality" movies besides all the garbage i usually watch. i came to my senses later, but thn it was too late to return them

I've seen all the dvd's I have at least a thousand times. LOL, Plus one of friends movies (several of them) many times. Obviously I don't mind watching them again and again.

Yes! I bought a WHOLE bunch of them at Dollar Tree and, after watching a few, decided the rest would be just as crappie so I haven't watched them! No wonder they were in the Dollar Store.................. What was I thinking!?

Yes, I buy them then the kids get hold of them and they disappear into the depths of teenage bedrooms. They are still here somewhere.....
