Neither. I imagine I will go out in all directions. The energy, molecules, and water that make up my body will dissipate over time and find new life in other forms all over the Earth. As for my consciousness, it will live in the memories of the people I have loved.

i want to be burried with a fruit tree on top
the roots feeding of my corpse
to produce sweet and delicious fruits for my descendents to enjoy

If buried, I'll go down relative to the earth surface.
If cremated, I'll go up as smoke, most of me, while the rest will get carried laterally by wind and rain, probably mostly downhill.
