It's gotta a nice ring to it, like one day you'll see it in print on or on some monument to his tribute for doing something great for mankind. :)

The name is beautiful. Only because you named him Julian is why they can't cope. Some people think it is to feminine for a boy but it's a great name and he will be about to spell it. People who don't like the name are people who will make fun of the name and tease him but that will happen with any name. At least you didn't name him after a car or a drink. Forget them and help your child live up to his proud name.

I like that name. What exactly do they think is wrong about it?
I like the name Julian but personally I am trying to come up with names that are not easily made fun of. He may end up getting called Julie in his teen years. I love Abigail for a girl, but I don't want people calling her Flabby Abby or anything like that. See where I'm going with this?

Is CarMichael the surname?
I like Julian Andrew- I know 2 Julians and 2 Andrews and they are all lovely lovely people with lovely lovely names!
If CarMichael is a second middle, I dont like it as it doesnt fit.
Even if it is a surname, it still jars a little, but we cannot choose our surnames, and it flows well at least.
Interestingly, Julian CarMichael sounds fine to me, and thats how he'll be known most often.
Your family are being mean!

Kayla the choice of name for a child is very much a personal thing, and I think Julian Andrew is a great name, its strong and modern. Dont be put down by your family, it is yourself and Julian who will have to live with the name and I am sure you had great reasons for choosing it. Tell them calmly but firmly, I chose Julians name because...insert reason...and stick to your guns. Good luck!

I like Julian. Andrew goes nicely.
If you named him, you must've loved the name and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Yes, it's nice to get approval, but it's not mandatory. Does the name fit him, does it sound right when you call him to come for dinner? If so, don't worry about it at all.

He probably get teased over being a Julian and kids when he gets older might call him Julia.
Andrew Julian CarMichael (I am also assuming CarMichael is your last name, if not it was a BAD choice for a middle name). would have been better!!!
It certianly isn't the WORST, believe me I have been seeing some REALLY bad names on here lately and also hearing them at work.
But it does also resemble Julie Andrews a bit!!!!!

It kind of makes me think Julie Andrews and I hated the Sound of Music. But it's not a horrible name for a boy

I think this is a really nice name. It flows excellent, and Julian isn't too much of a popular name but it's not too different either. I think its a really good name and it's your son so don't let your family be the judge of if it's a good name or not.

I think Julian Andrew is a good name. Your family is not used to him yet. After a few months his name will fit him and your family will love him anyway. I saw his pics... Very handsome young man. Congradulations!

i think that julian andrew carmichael is a GREAT name. i saw the video of him and he is so adorable... i especially love the picture of him sleeping with the cat! and you know what? he's your kid, and YOU get to name him. ignore any comments about them saying its a bad name, or just politely say "you can not like the name, but i love it, and i would appreciate if you would stop insulting it, because it is hurtful to me."
congratulations, he's a beautiful baby!!!!
