that is a very good question. I have wondered that also;) They both knew each other too. and both admired each others works, Princess was in the spotlight more, and Mother Teresa didn't want to be in the spotlight, she just wanted to work for God. P Di was more into publicity, but she wanted to make a difference and used her publicity to bring awareness to aids and the landmine problems and all that. That is a good question though.

Mother teresa's life is celebrated everyday in churches, at museums, in books, i mean whenever you go to a church anywhere in the world she is mentioned, She is considered holy. I mean Princess Diana did have the heart of gold, but Mother Teresa had something else.

I think it is because Diana was beautiful and Teresa wasn't so much(no offense)...also because Diana had an untimely death and mother Teresa pretty much lived out her whole life. They both deserve to be recognized for the good deeds they did in their lifetimes.

Well I don't think Mother Teresa would want any kind of celebration like that of her life. But when she becomes a Saint, she will have a feast day probably.

Because Princess Diana lived her life from her courtship with Prince Charles until her death in the spotlight. Her good works are highly publicized. Plus, she was a PRINCESS.

In my opinoin Princess Diana was royality, she was beautiful and friendly and she gave so much of her life to others.

Mother Theresa did the same thing except she wasn't royality.

It is sad because both of these women were so special.

When older people die, it seems more inevitable, and there may be mourning, but mostly for show... I did an experiment once when Bess Truman died, around 1983. I went around acting sad and mournful, telling people Bess Truman died. Most people's reactions were, "She was an old lady."
