One thing you have to learn if you are famous is to ignore the tabloid stories. The "media" (as you are referring to them) often gets its "facts" wrong. Tom and Katie seem to be doing fine. Scientology is a bunch of nonsense, but so are a lot of other religions.

They're a weird couple, for sure... scientology will do a little alteration on your head no matter who you are.
She's very removed from reality, and it fascinates me her best friend supposedly is that airhead Posh. WHAT a great conversation the two of them must have.

They're relationship always seemed kind of strange to me but who knows . It feels like we actually know these people with how much you see and read about them but really only they know what's real in their relationship. I still find the pairing a little odd though.

Katie is a grown woman. She can think for herself. I dont think that Tom brainwashed her. I think that she "loves" him and she'll do anything for him.
