A penile fracture is an injury caused by the rupture of the tunica albuginea, which envelopes the corpus cavernosum of the penis. It is an uncommon injury, most often caused by a blunt trauma to an erect penis. A popping or cracking sound, significant pain, immediate detumescence (loss of the erection), and skin hematoma of various sizes are commonly associated with the event. Penile fracture is generally considered a medical emergency, and emergency medical surgical repair is the usual treatment. Delay in seeking treatment increases the complication rate. Non-surgical approaches result in 10%-50% complication rates including erectile dysfunction, permanent penile curvature, damage to the urethra, and pain during sexual intercourse

This is a medical emergency caused generally by a person hitting the penis extremely hard with a fist, etc.

Failure to treat it, will reduce whatever small chances there are of ensuring it will still be able to provide an erection.

A penis is not a bone. It is soft tissue and blood vessels. Fracture is impossible.

It doesn't have a bone in it, so can't be broken. There are no muscles in it, so you can't sprain it. You can tear the internal tissues, which may lead to scarring. If you have damaged your penis (usually this happens while erect) then you should seek professional help to assess the potential long-term effects.

A penis cannot fracture, it's not a bone! You only get a b-o-n-e-r! Maybe you sprained it from vigorous use. Try ice. Good luck!

If your penis "broke" (it can happen), it will make a loud sound. I can only imagine that it would hurt a lot too. However, if this happened to you then you need to see a doctor immediately. Do not try to self help yourself.
