There was the October crisis quite a few years ago when Trudeau was Prime Minister. The short story of that was basically, the FLQ (Front de Liberation du Quebec) was formed by a bunch of extreme separatists from Quebec and they kidnapped a foreign diplomat (James Cross) and an MLA (Pierre Laporte) and said they'd kill them unless Quebec was allowed to separate. Trudeau initiated the war measures act, took away everyone's rights, arrested anyone who might have anything to do with terrorism. Cross was alright Laporte was found dead in the trunk of a car. And the FLQ was completely stamped out.

There was also the air India bombing which happened in the mid 80's but inquiries are still going on and I can't tell you exactly what happened. Although a plane was blown up.

Otherwise there's been an attempt or two in the last couple of years but no actual attacks to speak of that I know of.

properly... we've had some "kin terrorist assaults" like the FLQ stuff interior the 1960's and 70's in Quebec. Arguably the 1985 Air India Bombing substitute into an act of terrorism against Canadians because of the fact it occured on a flight from Montreal and in contact some Canadians. there have been different plots uncovered yet Canada has no longer experienced something such as what the human beings have.

They probably do. I do not know of any attacks that have been carried out but there were arrests in a terror plot to attack Toronto a few years ago.
