Children. Always. They don't have an inkling of how incredibly beautiful they are. The patients I work with. They show me amazing amounts of courage, strength and humor in very difficult circumstances. Beautiful music. Nature. Human touch. Small kindnesses. Friendship. Trust. Finding the beautiful in the mundane. The grace of God.

Being at church and singing a song that I may have sung many times, but this time it touches my heart in such a way that it brings tears to my eyes.
Thinking about God's love for ALL of us. We ALL deserve to go to hell, but God's mercy and neverchanging love for us sent His Son to die on the cross so His shed blood could cover ALL of our sins if we give our life to Him. And that He's given us the CHOICE to receive Him or reject Him, so in the end, it's our fault if we're sent to hell, cause we chose to reject Him here.
Also my grandchildren are so incredibly precious to me. My granddaughter is 2 and we have such a wonderful bond with each other. She's the apple of my eye. And my grandson (her brother) is 6 months and he's my sweetie! We've known before he was born that he had some serious medical issues...and it's true. We don't know how long God will bless us by letting him stay with us here on earth, but everyday is a very special day for us. When God DOES take him home....we'll know he's with his Maker and will have a perfect little body.

Children using manners.
A good novel, one that impacts me.
A full moon, lots of stars, a walk in the rain, or a fishing pole in my hand.
The look on the faces of friends or family as they open a gift I've made just specially for them.
My grand kids' smiles.
When things just go good, with no problems or when life has no complications.
Camping, family, and the out doors.
AND: My bladder.

The sight of someone who refuses to quit - who believes that whatever life hands you is there to be overcome. I am moved by the simple courage of everyday folks that I see in my work as a nurse. I wish I was as fine a person as many of my patients were

Small things. Watching a middle-aged dad chatting with his two-year-old and some random children in the park with unfailing gusto. Hearing about a couple's 76th wedding anniversary.

The beauty and wonder of nature and wildlife. Witnessing people being kind to each other. A powerful song that really hits home.

To see a world in a grain of
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
