So I've preordered the 7th Harry Potter book like a million other people. Does anyone happen to know when in the day you will get the book? Early/Late?

Depends on your UPS carrier's route. Today I received a different pre-order book well before noon.

Most likely, it'll come with your regular mail. If Amazon chooses to use a different courier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) due to your location, you could receive it as early as 9:00 AM or as late as 9:00 PM. It depends on what is the cheapest for Amazon. I have placed a lot of ordered through Amazon, and the vast majority of the media (books, DVDs, and CDs) I've ordered have come via regular mail.
