Steak very rare in the middle (almost raw), but almost burned on the outside. Needs a very hot flame. Potato baked with sour cream and butter, or maybe garlic mashed.

As a side dish to YOU:)
First I would cook the steak med. rare. then I would dress up the table with candlelight and the atmosphere would include a soft music, turning off the lights and a slow dance. Then I would seat you down and we would talk of fantasy's and stare into each others eyes and ..........
OHH yeah ,
I like my steak med. rare with baked potato with sour cream and butter.

Grilled medium rare over hardwood charcoal (I typically use applewood or mesquite) with a cayenne and garlic rub. Potatoes quarted and boiled, tossed with olive oil, rosemary, and garlic, and then grilled.
I'll pass on the A-1. A well cooked, well-seasoned steak doesn't need steak sauce.
mmmmm... dinner tomorrow......
