Hello

rewrite by dividing top and bottom by x^2 giving us

f(x) = (2 + (1/x^2))/(1 + (1/x^2)) now let x go to infinity and we have the limit = 2, so there is a horizontal asymtote there.

Hope This Helps!

There is no horizontal asymptote as the limit of the function is +infinity as x goes to + or - infinity.
