I mean if Scooty Libby got his jail sentence....then Sandy Berger should also be put in jail right? (I mean his crime was a lot worst)

Dude, Nick F...
Sandy Berger is not a girl.
Do you even know who Sandy Berger is? I will let this slide and spare you my venom.
You see, like G.W. ...I can be a forgiving person too

How was Sandy Burger crime worse than Libby's? He took papers about something that had occurred in the past and yes, if he was tried and convicted and the sentence could have included jail time, then he should have received it, but HE did not get it because unlike people in this adminstration he took responsibility for his actions and pleaded guilty. Burger's charges were misdemeanors while Libbys charges were FELONIES.
No one forced Libby to take an oath to tell the truth and lie 7 times not only to the FBI but also to the grand jury. He had notes that he could have referred back to which he fully well knew he had but he still chose to lie. It was his own notes that were used against as well as the testimony from the reporter, yes notes in his own handwriting detailing when he met and spoke with whom. Enough!!!
I damn well know if Libby had been a Dem, you would want his head on a stick. Pathetic
You people are so stinking blind about the administration and what they have done to this nation by lying.
If Valarie Plame had not been who she said she was, there would have been absolutely no way that the CIA would have interfered and limited what she could testify to in public.
Even if, she was not whom she claimed she was, she was not the only person who worked for Brewster Jennings a company who had been trying to get human intelligence in place in Iran to find out about their nuclear ambitions. A network, Plame was going to put in place. Then the adminstration in their zeal to prop of this travesty of a war based on lies that has cost over 3578 US soldiers lives with over 25,000 wounded of which 7200 are maimed i.e. legs blown off, genitals amputated, outted this woman in an effort to continue the snow job that is still believed by the remaining cult members who drank the Bush Administration koolaid.

Publicizing the identity of a CIA agent is a felonious act of treason. i'm going to in no way recover from the marvel that Cheney had Libby try this. Cheney's day will come. Libby substitute into convicted. Berger is suspected by some. If somebody informed you 5 yrs. in the past that a CIA agent may well be outed by a flesh presser, might you assume it would desire to be a conservative vice chairman? i think of deep down, maximum conservatives are quietly bowled over and offended. maximum cons might assume a LIBERAL to do some thing like that.

Crime was a lot worse? Are you kidding me? Spin all you want to. Libby's obstruction and lying to investigators is a much more aggregious offense. Even people who thought what Barger did was serious conceded that they believed there was no criminal intent. Bottom line? He did NOT receive a jail sentence. Libby did.
Necons who resort to "Yeah but Clinton..." for everything the Bush admiinstration does wrong are pathetic. Bush vowed that he would not support ANYONE who is involved with the Valerie Plame incident. Instead, he commutes the sentence of someone who was properly sentenced and sentence upheld by BUSH appointees. Not only does he have no regard for the voice of the people, the rule of law, and the Constitution, he has the audacity to insult his own appointees.
I knjow. I know. I expect a couple of thousand thumbs downs. I dont care. Some of you people have no credibility to spend here. So, knock yourself out.

Anyone CONVICTED OF A FELONY crime should do time. It's really that simple.
Berger plead to misdemeanors. Why do Cons refuse to acknowledge this ? Don't like the judicial system ? Run for office.

Berger pled guilty to a misdemeanor. Libby was convicted of three felonies. Felony crime is "worst" than a misdemeanor.

I think anybody who is convicted of perjury should serve jail time. Especially one who lies to cover up treason. It funny how you seem to leave out certain little details...

Anybody who breaks the law --- Democrat, Republican or rock worshiper---- should get jail time. No one is above the law.
