Don't really need warranty, thanks! I just need a good price for a juiced up laptop.

Actually, I did go to dell.com and customized the specs. I was just wondering if I can get the same specs in a laptop for a lower price... for less than a $1000?

I come here in the US once or twice a year, so the warranty is useless in my country. Thanks for the info, though!

You could buy any computer with those specs. But, what you really want is laptop with complete coverage ...if you spill coffee on it, drop an anvil on it, roll over it with your dumptruck, or drop it for a wash with your blue jeans IT WILL BE COVERED! Dell has the best warranties. Service is next business day or the day after next business day (depending on the time of day you call for support and when parts are ordered). Don't be afraid to spend a little more money on a 3 or 4 year warranty. One motherboard replacement or lcd replacement will prove the expense was worth it.

good luck....happy shopping

Check out the Dell's. My brother just bought one with everything you specified, except the 160 GB HD. It had an 80GB HD, but you can always order it with a larger HD if you so desire. He watched the sales and got the laptop for $550.

are 2 of my most used sites for laptop computers. Although if you plan on doing major video editing I would suggest an imac due to the ability of the imac softwares video editing.
