Gotta go with Fred Lynn. As far as I know it's still the only one hit in the All Star game. Although I'm not sure if he was with Boston at that time.
Addendum to that: I always liked Fred Lynn. I believe that had he stayed with Boston his career would have been a lot better average wise and in all categories. I'm talking Hall of Fame material.

Fred Lynn, and i even remember where i was sitting watching the game when he hit the Grand Slam, oh yeah....
he was a California Angel at the time and a teammates of other All Stars Reggie Jackson, Rod Carew`, Bob Boone, and Doug Decinces.
Manny Trillo, Rod Carew and Robin Yount scored on Fred Lynn Grand Slam
Ironically Fred's old Team mate Jim Rice was the next batter and hit a Fly Ball for the third out. But, Rice also started the inning with a Home Run in the beginning of the bottom of the 3rd.
Did you also know that they Intentionally Walked Robin Yount to load the bases for Fred ??

Trick question. The only slam in All-Star Game history was hit by FORMER Red Sox player Fred Lynn, in the 1983 ASG in Comiskey Park, Chicago.

Lynn had been traded to California Angels in January 1981. The '83 Angels had a huge All-Star contingent, five players: Lynn, Bob Boone, Rod Carew, Doug DeCinces, and Reggie Jackson.

it was Fred Lynn, and of the California Angels, not the Boston Red Sox, and it was against Atlee Hammaker of the San Fransisco Giants, in the Bottom of the 3rd Inning at Comiskey Park, the score before the Grand Slam was hit was 5-1, with the fianl being 13-1 American League.

Fred Lynn, I saw the game. Lynn was a very underrated player during his career and it was good to see him be able to do something he would be remembered for.
